The questions I'm here to answer today are as follows: Did World War II become more brutal as time went on? Was the brutality on only one side? First of all, World War Two was such a huge war that It was pretty much the most revolutionary war-related inventing period

on planet Earth. It created incredible new planes, tanks, firearms, transportation methods, radio improvements, cleaning supplies, engines, and much more. So many new weapons and prototypes were invented that it would have been impossible for WWII to not get progressively deadlier.

The second question was, "Was the brutality on only one side?" Absolutely not. The war was devastating and incredibly deadly to soldiers and civilians alike. However, some countries had it much worse than others. The Soviet Union lost an estimated 27 million in the war, while America only lost about half a million. This was certainly because of Russia's huge front on Germany, where Russia gained land but lost many troops. As a conclusion, WWII hit Russia really badly, and many new inventions were made during the war as well.
