We all know about WWII, the giant war that ravaged nations, killed hundreds of millions, and boosted new weapon's productivity levels through the roof. However, it can be a little hard to say how it became global so fast. Well, Germany quickly started invading Europe, which immediately roused all of its old enemies to fight. During this time, Germany got some old friends to join the fight, Japan and Italy. Japan wanted to cripple the U.S.A, and they figured the first step towards that was to completely destroy their navy, almost all of which was stationed in Pearl Harbor. Attacking before their official declaration of war got to the U.S.A, Pearl Harbor was hit hard. This infuriated Americans, also causing many countries to join forces against the Germans.

During this conflict, Hitler planned to invade the entire world, minus his asset countries. The Allies realized this guy was a lunatic and began mass production and drafting. Embargos and new trade deals were made, which quickly involved other countries, all while huge battles, invasions, surgical strikes, and air raids became common in Europe. When Hitler put all the Jews he could find in death camps, that made him even more enemies- Jew revolutionary groups and the poles.

This is how WWII quickly became global.
