Odysseus, Penelope, and Telemachus all have one huge similarity, they all hate the suitors. Imagine this: Your husband or father just got sent off to war and you think he’s dead. Then over 100 suitors show up at your house and start raiding your house, drinking your drinks, eating your food, sleeping around in your living room, playing sports in your yard, and wrestling in your dining hall. As you can imagine, you wouldn't exactly think the world of them. But then imagine that you went to a war that was total chaos, watched all of your comrades die before your eyes, Being eaten by a cyclops, drowned, stabbed, shot, smashed, turned into pigs, and…well, you name it.
Then imagine taking a 10 year journey home, and are about to tell your wife and son you’re not dead, and you find your house filled with over 100 suitors.
Obviously, Odysseus was enraged. He took up his spear, shield, bow and arrow, and a disguise. His son, also ticked by the suitors, did the same. They slaughtered all the suitors easily.
Penelope tricked the suitors into thinking that she might show a little interest in them, giving Odysseus and Telemachus time to attack. She might have disliked them most of all: she told them she’d marry one of them as soon as she finished a shroud for Odysseus' father.. It was very hard to sow, and she would undo her work every night for three years. THREE YEARS. I couldn’t sow for ten minutes straight without drifting off to sleep.
As a conclusion, Odysseus, Penelope, and Telemachus all have one huge similarity, and that is their hatred for the suitors.
