Hello everyone, this week's essay will be about something that has had a major influence on all our lives: Soda water. So, how did it start out? Well, it started out with the French making sparkling wine by accident. When they made champagne, it was colder, which halted the fermentation process. When it got warmer out, the bottles were filled with fizz, which made a lot of the bottles blow up in a chain reaction.
Now alcohol making was dangerous, and anybody who worked in the cellars had to wear face protection.
The French considered it faulty and sent it off to the English. It could have been as a gift, but I think it was more "Get these things away from me before they blow!". However, the English liked it. The English continued making sparkling wine in 1662. Then Joseph Priestly was interested in air and started investigating. He investigated air in the beer brewery in 1767, where the strange air he investigated made water bubbly. He drank some and liked it, so he published his discoveries.
So, what are its functions and benefits? Well, Soda water is infused with carbon dioxide, and the drinks are kept under pressure by filling the water with CO2. People liked it because it gave a punch to their drinks. They became crucial to the soft drink market.
Priestly used his paper to bolster his reputation, and Schweppes opened a business in 1783 to produce soda water. This later became soda, which has been useful to our modern lives by giving us something to hand out at parties, something to drink for refreshment, and something for 80s commercials to rave about.
As a conclusion to my essay, soda has been very beneficial to our parties, our appetites, and oAs a conclusion to my essay, soda has been very beneficial to our parties, our appetites, and our american spirit.

Good job! Nice grammar and good dates. The only thing I would change would be that you should use a football helmet rather than baseball helmet. 😎
