Hello everybody, here's another history essay, this one about Isaac Newton!

So, what was the world before him like? Well, there were several wars going on, including:

The thirty years war - 1618-1648.

English civil war: 1642 - 1651.

He was born on the 25 of December 1642 – 20 March 1726/27

He was born in England, And was a smart dude. So Newton studied natural philosophy in college, And later went on to be in charge of that college, the Royal society! He was in charge of the college for 25 years, and ruled the college with and iron fist. He did not like any nonsense of any sort. I for one think that I would have preferred a college that allowed nonsense, but a lot of his students went on to sign the declaration of independence, so apparently it worked well. He discovered gravity and investigated planets orbiting and their gravitational pull. He also deeply investigated motion and greatly helped us in that area too. He died very old for his time, and helped us in many ways today. We wouldn't have gone to the moon without him!
